WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Core Competencies and Areas of Responsibility
Leadership
· Assist in meeting KPI goals for production team.
· Support Production Supervisor daily on proper staffing levels with regards to skills and headcount.
· Develop staff through training of HACCP, GMPs, Safety, Quality and other company standard operating procedures.
· Enforce plant and company safety programs, promoting and maintaining a high level of awareness and adherence to defined employee safety requirements such as lock-out/tag-out, personal protective equipment, etc.
· Support, demonstrate and promote core values: Teamwork, Integrity, Courage & Curiosity
Process Improvement
· Assist Production Supervisor in assessing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Work with Production supervisor to develop and implement Improvement activities.
Troubleshooting
· Work with Production Supervisor to monitor the equipment performance in production process (i.e., freezer, packaging machinery, etc) to ensure that equipment is functioning efficiently and is properly cleaned and sanitized. Arrange for timely repair/resolution of equipment failures.
· Provide technical recommendations as needed.
Time Management
· Monitor production rates, flow, and work with Production Supervisor to integrate changes as needed.
· Assist in completion of all required production paperwork, records, documentation, such as time cards, quality records, etc.
Organizational Skills
· Support operators to ensure all production lines are appropriately staged for current and future runs
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
· High School Diploma or higher education.
· Previous Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
· 2-4 years' experience in direct employee supervision is preferred.
· Must be willing and able to work extra hours as needed to support production needs.
· Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
· Ability to determine how a system should work and how changes in conditions, operations, and the environment will affect outcomes.
· Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
· Ability to select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
Pay: From $23.57 per hour
