Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems (Toast), ensuring clarity and efficiency
- Recommend menu items and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage table turnover efficiently by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting sanitation protocols
- Cashiering and food handling responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling practices to ensure guest safety and compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Prior Sushi restaurant experience (1 or more years) with a focus on food service or hospitality
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle guest relations professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Flexibility to work lunch,es dinners, weekends, and holidays s as needed
