Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, Staggered start times - will need some flexibility
**schedule will be determined at least 4 weeks in advance**
- On Call Requirement: Will rotate call, & once staffing is stabilized call hours will be on a recurring rotation
- Holidays: Covered by call rotations
- Weekends: If unable to fill a shift, they will need to cover the shift.
Responsibilities:
- As a Director of Nursing | DON | RN, you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents.
- You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.
Must Haves:
- License: IL RN License
- Certification: BLS
- Experience: Candidate must have 2 years of recent DON experience in a SKILLED NURSING FACILITY
- Education: ASN, BSN or MSN preferred
About the Unit:
- Number of Beds: Licensed for 90 beds
- Patient Care/Diagnoses: LTC & Recovery & Rehab
- Direct Reports Will oversee DON, Wound Care RN, Pulmonary, and MDS
- Who will they report to? DON will report to Site Administrator
