Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to lead EPDM, TPO and PVC roofing projects with energy and precision. In this vital role, you will oversee daily operations on roofing sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Starting at $25 an hour and potential to increase based on experience. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and uphold safety protocols across all job sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse roofing projects, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and restoration work, while fostering a culture of safety and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise roofing crews during installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial roofs, including metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of project specifications.
- Coordinate daily work schedules, material deliveries, and equipment usage to maximize productivity on-site.
- Enforce strict adherence to construction safety regulations such as the use of safety harnesses, proper ladder use, and safe operation of power tools and hand tools.
- Conduct safety briefings and inspections regularly to ensure compliance with all workplace safety standards.
- Oversee the proper use of construction tools and equipment like scaffolding, heavy lifting gear, caulking guns, tile cutters, masonry tools, and fabrication machinery.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on commercial roofing projects involving metal roofing and single-ply membrane systems.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics.
- Hands-on experience with roofing repair techniques as well as siding installation, EPDM, TPO, and PVC roofing systems
- Familiarity with construction safety workplace regulations such as OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols.
- Ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Skilled in heavy lifting techniques and the safe operation of power tools and hand tools required for roofing and related construction activities.
