Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to serve as an Education and Clinical Training Specialist for Post-Acute care facilities across several states in the United States. This role focuses on educating nursing staff, implementing respiratory care programs, and promoting best practices in pulmonary and tracheostomy management to improve patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate is passionate about education, comfortable traveling nationally .
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person and virtual respiratory care in-services for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Develop and deliver educational programs and protocols on tracheostomy care, ventilator awareness, respiratory monitoring, NIV and oxygen management.
- Support onboarding and implementation of respiratory services within partner facilities
- Serve as a liaison between The Moxie Health Group and post-acute care facilities.
- Assist in the implementation and optimization of pulmonary, sleep medicine, and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs.
- Conduct facility assessments to identify educational and clinical needs.
Requirements:
- Travel throughout the United States to conduct facility visits, trainings, and program implementation.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
- Active state licensure or ability to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75–100% nationwide.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator management, as well as familiarity with Home Sleep Testing (HST) devices and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs, is preferred.
