Laboratory Technician
MD Pain is currently seeking a Laboratory Technician who will work in conjunction with the Laboratory Manager to deliver accurate and reliable clinical toxicology services.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Conduct sample collection and preparation.
- Make in-house mixes for reagents, calibrators, and qualitative controls.
- Accession and log patient samples
- Handling/testing of proficiency/comparison samples
- Ability to operate and maintenance screening instrumentation.
- Experience with Indiko is preferred.
- Adhere to the laboratory’s quality control policies.
- Maintain laboratory records and quality assessment documentation.
· Follow OSHA, HIPPA and regulatory compliance laws and standards
- Maintain general lab maintenance, to include but not limited to lab organization, cleaning, and disposal of patient samples.
- Organizing and maintaining laboratory sample storage and laboratory inventory
- Perform laboratory experiments as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
· Two years of experience performing medium complexity
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIMS) and patient health software
- Familiarity operating within COLA/CLIA regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills

Hours: 8am-5pm (hours may sometimes vary depending on sample volume/instrument)
Compensation commensurate with experience
