Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, and commission HVAC systems (split systems, heat pumps, furnaces, ductwork, thermostats)
- Read plans/specs and follow manufacturers’ installation instructions
- Perform system start-ups, airflow balancing, and safety checks
- Troubleshoot and correct installation issues
- Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate with dispatch/customers
- Follow company safety policies and maintain clean job sites
Qualifications
- 1+ years experience as HVAC installer or equivalent (apprentices accepted with training)
- EPA 608 certification required (Type II/Universal preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied weather/attics
- Basic electrical and refrigeration knowledge
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and customer service skills
