About Us
Luxedge Electric is a Southern California commercial electrical contractor specializing in commercial lighting, electrical service, LED retrofits, parking lot lighting, tenant improvements, and electrical maintenance.
We primarily work on dealerships, warehouses, retail stores, shopping centers, and other commercial properties.
We are looking for a reliable Electrical Trainee (ET) who wants to learn commercial electrical work while working directly with an experienced C-10 electrical contractor.
Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial lighting installations
- LED retrofit projects
- Install occupancy sensors and lighting controls
- Pull wire and assist with conduit installation
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues
- Use hand tools and power tools safely
- Lift and organize materials
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Follow instructions and work as part of a team
Requirements
- Active California Electrical Trainee (ET) registration or currently enrolled in a California-approved ET program
- Reliable transportation
- Valid California Driver License
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work legally in the United States
Preferred (Not Required)
- Commercial electrical experience
- Basic EMT conduit experience
- Experience installing commercial lighting
- OSHA 10
- Scissor Lift certification
Schedule
Flexible Part-Time
- Weekdays
- Occasional Saturdays
- Typical shifts are 6–10 hours depending on the project
