Position Summary:
The Site Quality Technician shall assist the shift quality team in delivering high level results by supporting the Quality system through production batch record creation, review, and release.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing to ensure product meets specifications.
- Monitors product quality; identifies and isolates product that does not meet standards.
- Recognizes deficiencies and initiates proper follow-up.
- Aids in troubleshooting and supports resolution of incoming materials issues.
- Directs product control and release processes in WMS and SAP
- Conducts documentation generation, review and verification regarding daily production results.
- Communicates quality results and issues both internally and externally
- Principal interface with customer on specification clarification and issues
- Supports quality work processes – Deviations, Mock Recall, CaPA, etc.
- Supports project management team with timely communication of issues.
- Follows and enforces all the policies and procedures set forth to promote quality and regulatory compliance, safety and report any outages.
Required Experience & Education/Experience:
· High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- Quality Assurance work experience (FDA regulated business preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to complete and review very detailed and sensitive documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of cGMP’s
- Possess high professional ethics, dependability, good judgment and ability to take decisive action
- Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Adhere to company safety standards
Work Environment:
This position requires work in both an office setting and a warehouse setting. Work often requires “after hours” communication or extended work hours, including weekend or evening work. Working conditions in the warehouse setting may or may not be environmentally controlled resulting in hot or cold temperatures. Employee will work in an area where there is moving warehouse equipment.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to: stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
