LADACIN Network is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Lehmann School in Lakewood, NJ. This is a part-time, 14-hour position providing physical therapy services to students ages 3–21 with developmental and multiple physical disabilities in a school setting.
The Physical Therapist is responsible for implementing IEP goals, conducting evaluations and ongoing assessments, collaborating with a transdisciplinary team, and supporting staff in providing safe therapeutic practices while promoting student success and independence.
- Provide physical therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Conduct evaluations, ongoing assessments, and progress monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student goals.
- Participate in transdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student programming.
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Train and support staff in safe positioning, transfers, and therapeutic techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with NJDOE regulations and agency policies.
- Current New Jersey Physical Therapist license required.
- Valid New Jersey Department of Education School Physical Therapist certification required.
- Experience working with children with developmental and multiple disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative transdisciplinary team.
