As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and organized HR Coordinator / Home Care Scheduler to join our team and grow with us. Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator / Home Care Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding qualified caregivers (PCA, CNA, HHA) to support agency growth and client care needs. This role focuses on building a strong caregiver pipeline while ensuring all hires meet compliance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers
- Post and manage job listings across platforms (Indeed, Care.com, social media, etc.)
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and community outreach
- Screen applicants via phone and in-person interviews
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates
Hiring & Onboarding
- Coordinate interviews and hiring decisions with leadership
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings
- Ensure completion of onboarding requirements (I-9, W-4, TB, certifications, etc.)
- Facilitate new hire orientation and system setup (e.g., WellSky, payroll systems)
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all caregiver files meet state and company requirements
- Track annual training requirements (e.g., PCA 12-hour in-service training)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Engagement & Retention
- Build relationships with caregivers to improve retention
- Support employee engagement initiatives and communication
- Assist with resolving caregiver concerns and workplace issues
Administrative Duties
- Maintain recruitment reports and hiring metrics
- Support HR functions including policy implementation and documentation
- Assist with job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach
Qualifications:
- Experience in recruiting, preferably in healthcare or home care
- Knowledge of caregiver roles (PCA, CNA, HHA)
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet hiring goals
Work Environment:
- Office-based with community outreach as needed
- Occasional attendance at job fairs or recruiting events
