Job Summary
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning. This individual will work directly with the Clinical Director and Operations Director to build a strong, compliant, and high-performing workforce in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a streamlined onboarding process that ensures all new hires complete required mandated training, background checks, and documentation prior to working with clients.
- Ensure organizational compliance with Ohio regulations, rules, and all applicable federal and state employment laws .
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, certifications, training documentation, and background check compliance in accordance with standards.
- Manage employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances, and terminations in a fair, consistent, and legally compliant manner.
- Develop, review, and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures to reflect current requirements and agency needs.
- Track and report on workforce metrics including turnover, overtime, vacancy rates, and certification compliance; present findings to leadership.
- Partner with management to identify staffing gaps, succession planning needs, and opportunities for workforce development.
- Support performance management processes including appraisals, performance improvement plans, and corrective action documentation.
- Coordinate and track all mandatory staff training requirements, including CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (Med Pass), abuse/neglect reporting, and behavioral support training.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with a strong background in HR department operations and legal compliance management.
- Extensive knowledge of employment law in talent management, labor law regulations, and HR legal compliance standards.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze data effectively using Excel or similar tools to support strategic planning efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
