Primary Responsibilities
- Rig Truck Required
- GTAW/SMAW combo rig welder ASME B31.3
- Read blueprints and other engineering drawings
- Operate the truck's built-in generator and welding machine
- Keep all tools, gas tanks, and cables clean and safe
- 4+ years of experience welding experience on industrial size and grade equipment
- Must have a thorough knowledge of various metals characteristic and qualities including the correct welding processes required and the effects of welding on the material.
- Pass a weld test.
- Experience welding multiple types of material possibly including but not limited to: carbon steel, Fluxcore, stainless, aluminum and chrome.
- Be able and willing to assist with other activities while not actively welding.
- Must be able to work at heights as required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified in at least 2 processes
Physical Requirements
- Large amounts of walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting and lifting
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to wear fall protection equipment
- Lifting requirements are limited to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk on uneven ground
- Ability to work in hot and cold weather environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00 - $50.50 per hour
