Critical Spares Analyst
Location: Denver, Colorado (On-site)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Critical Spares Analyst to support inventory planning and material operations for a fast-paced telecommunications environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability of critical spare equipment, coordinating replenishment activities, and optimizing inventory across multiple warehouse locations.
The ideal candidate has experience working with enterprise inventory systems, supply chain operations, and cross-functional teams to maintain service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily usage of critical spare inventory and initiate replenishment orders to maintain target stock levels.
- Create and manage work orders to coordinate the shipment, receipt, and transfer of critical spare materials.
- Analyze inventory reports to identify excess inventory and recommend redistribution across regional warehouse locations.
- Coordinate Return Material Authorization (RMA) activities with field operations and vendors to ensure timely repair or replacement of defective equipment.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on inventory shortages and material availability issues.
- Review Dead on Arrival (DOA) equipment trends to identify recurring quality concerns and supplier performance opportunities.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Field Operations, Procurement, and Engineering teams to improve inventory performance and operational efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management, reporting, and replenishment processes.
Required Qualifications
- Experience using Oracle ERP, Salesforce, or similar enterprise systems.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including inventory reporting and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting telecommunications, network operations, data centers, or technical field services.
- Knowledge of inventory planning, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.
- Familiarity with RMA processes, inventory optimization, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
