Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage seating arrangements efficiently
- Assist hosts and servers with taking reservations and managing waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Support servers by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables quickly for new guests
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring guest relations are positive
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, demonstrating proper phone etiquette and guest engagement
- Support the team during busy service times by coordinating guest flow and assisting with basic restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred; hospitality background is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests and team members
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Knowledge of guest services, serving techniques, and hospitality standards required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior hotel or guest relations experience is beneficial but not mandatory
