Job Title: Litigation Technology Specialist
Location: Colorado, Texas, West Virginia, Pennsylvania
Position Summary:
The Litigation Technology Specialist provides technology support to the firm's litigation teams, ensuring attorneys and legal professionals have the technology and resources needed to effectively prepare for hearings, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials. This role assists with the implementation, deployment, and support of litigation technology solutions, with a primary focus on trial presentation software, courtroom technology, and related litigation support tools.
The Litigation Technology Specialist collaborates closely with the IT Help Desk, attorneys, paralegals, the ELS (e-Discovery & Litigation Support) team, and external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues, prepare technology for litigation events, and deliver responsive support to litigation teams. As business needs permit, the specialist may also assist with e-Discovery platforms and document review systems under the direction of the ELS team.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support attorneys and litigation teams with technology tools used during discovery and trial preparation, including Trial Director, OnCue, and other presentation tools.
· Support deposition management using Opus2 and similar tools.
· Assist with authenticated collection of web and social media evidence with Page Vault and similar tools.
· Prepare and edit trial presentation materials, including synchronized deposition video, video excerpts, multimedia exhibits, and digital demonstratives for courtroom presentation.
· Maintain litigation technology inventory across multiple offices.
· Provide hands-on trial support including courtroom equipment setup and digital exhibit presentation.
· Ensure all litigation technology systems are functional and user-ready; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
· Collaborate with attorneys and case teams to understand specific trial needs and provide tailored technical support.
· Train legal teams on litigation support tools and best practices.
· Liaise with vendors and consultants as needed to support litigation needs.
· Maintain documentation and chain of custody records for evidentiary materials.
· Travel to multiple offices and courthouses to support or coordinate trial technology needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in legal technology, information systems, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in litigation support or legal technology in a law firm or legal department.
· Proficiency with trial presentation software (e.g., Trial Director, OnCue) and familiarity with Page Vault, and Opus2.
· Strong understanding of the litigation process and e-discovery lifecycle.
· Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in high-stakes environments.
· Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
· Willingness to travel and provide in-courtroom support during trials.
Preferred:
· Experience supporting high-volume or high-profile trials.
· Experience working with legal teams on complex litigation matters.
· Familiarity with the technical aspects of e-discovery, including data processing, loading, and production within platforms such as Relativity, Everlaw, and other document review tools.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Employee may need to sit for extended periods. Employee may have to lift trial related equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Typical office setting. Must be able to use a keyboard, answer the telephone and use other office equipment (fax, copier, printer).
JOB STATUS: Non-exempt; full time; average of 37.5 hours per week.
