Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters learning and development.
- Implement daily curriculum tailored to meet the developmental needs of children, covering areas such as literacy, motor skills, social skills, and preparation for Kindergarten.
- Supervise children individually and in groups, ensuring their safety during all activities.
- Create and maintain daily schedules and routines, balancing rest time with physical activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any relevant updates.
- Maintain accurate daily attendance records.
Requirements:
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Recognition, and Communicable Disease, or a willingness and availability to obtain these certifications within two weeks of employment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Flexibility in availability.
- Passion for teaching and working with children.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of experience in childcare.
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred but not required.
