Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Pay Range:
- CMA: $23.50 – $25.68 per hour
- Pay is determined by years of experience.
Position Overview:
A top multi-practice medical facility in Bluffton, South Carolina is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support physicians and provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in a specialty medical office environment.
Flexible Schedule options:
Monday-Thursday 7am-5:30pm
Tuesday-Friday 7am-5:30pm
Monday-Thursday 7:45a-5pm and Fridays 1/2 day.
Requirements:
- Current CMA certification
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required
- Strong phlebotomy and injection skills
- Experience obtaining vitals and preparing patients for examination
- Ability to coordinate referrals and prescription refills efficiently
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain accurate vital signs and medical histories
- Perform phlebotomy and administer injections as ordered
- Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
- Manage referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Provide excellent patient support and education
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
