Rental Sales Representative – MWI Pumps is an engineering, manufacturing and Rental company. We engineer, manufacture, service, rent and sell large water pumps. We are currently seeking an effective Sales Representative for our Rental Division. Responsible for effective sales and rental of MWI Pump products and product lines in an assigned territory in order to achieve maximum sales profitability and company growth.
Job Description: Territory rental and sales of MWI Pump products and products lines.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Rental and sales of pumps to new and existing customers, in a designated territory.
- Managing and developing the existing accounts and clients
- Meeting and exceeded required sales quota
- Developing long-term client relationships
- Job site analysis
- Provide weekly call reports
- Development and establishment of professional technical knowledge of MWI products and services
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a 4-year degree in engineering or related field of study - preferred but not required.
- Have sales experience in the construction industry, industrial equipment sales, pumps, irrigation or prior experience with pump manufacturing
- Have a proven track record of successful outside sales
- Have prior experience in sales within the industrial rental/service industry
- Have an enthusiastic attitude, excellent initiative, and a strong work ethic
- Be an effective verbal and written communicator
- Be computer literate, especially proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Work effectively in a team environment while independent and autonomous
- Adhere to all safety rules
- Posses the ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Strong team player with the ability to successfully balance multiple priorities
WORKING CONDITIONS: Expected to visit numerous customer and jobsites on a daily basis. This position requires the candidate to have to analyze a job by physically walking, climbing, periodically wading in water and at times assist in the setup of the equipment. The terrains of the sites varies from mud, sand rocks, water, dirt mounds, and excavated holes. Must be able to handle frequent exposure to working in the sun, outdoors, shop, warehouse, manufacturing, and all types of jobsite weather conditions. Extended hours and weekend work may be required.
Physical Demands: Expected to visit numerous jobsites on a daily basis. This position requires the candidate to have to analyze a job by physically walking, climbing, periodically wading in water setup of the dewatering equipment. The terrains of the sites varies from mud, sand rocks, water, dirt mounds, and excavated holes. Must be able to handle exposure to outdoor, shop and jobsite weather condition. Must be able to stand, sit, fell, walk, talk, hear, see, reach over head, bend, lift a minimum of 50 lbs frequently, crouch, drive, crawl, grasp, squeeze, kneel, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Travel Requirements: Must be able to periodically travel (including overnight) if required.
