Overview
We are seeking a skilled hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to specify and design automated ultrasonic cleaning systems to achieve customer goals for product/tool cleanliness, throughput, and finished condition, taking constraints such as space, power, solvents, solutions and utilities into account.
Duties
Skills
- Proficiency in process engineering methodologies with a focus on Lean manufacturing practices.
- Proven history of assembling and/or maintaining complex capital equipment/machinery
- Experience with CAD software.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and industrial engineering principles related to manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement tooling solutions.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process failures and implement corrective actions.
- Design, program, and maintain vision inspection systems to ensure product quality.
- Document process changes and maintain accurate records of engineering specifications.
Experience
- Proven experience in mechanical design and construction for capital equipment projects.
- Familiarity with PLC programming and application within capital equipment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
- Strong history in hands-on manufacturing and assembly methods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $74,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
