Responsibilities:
- Perform carpentry work, including but not limited to, mold remediation, building, plumbing, concrete forming, tile laying, and restoration projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications and requirements.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and molding.
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in the restoration industry.
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines.
