When you join our team as a Teacher you will:
- Assistant the Site Director to implement Champions curriculum in a way that
supports the unique needs of each child.
- Supervise children while maintaining health and safety standards in a nurturing
environment where children can play and learn.
- Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care
and education for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, site staff, school personnel, as
well as other community partners.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Outstanding communication skills and strong customer service values
- Warm and welcoming demeanor with the ability to provide only positive child
guidance
- Meet state specific guidelines for the role
- Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that adjusts based on program needs.
- Able to assume postures in low levels to interact with children, see and hear well
enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
- Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and
their parents in English
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
