Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10‑hour shifts (4/10s)
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
Employment Type: Full‑time

About Us
We are a growing vintage automotive shop in Costa Mesa, California, specializing in pre‑war and early‑classic vehicles (1905–1930s). We do comprehensive restorations and full-service work on rare American and European collector cars.
The shop is owned by a third-generation collector, professionally managed and backed by a friendly team. We value hard work, good craftsmanship and folks who take pride in doing things right.
Because most of these old vehicles don’t have manuals or guides, the job takes lots of know-how, determination and creative problem-solving. If you like working on old machines, figuring things out with your hands and tackling one-of-a-kind challenges, this is a place where you can make a long-term career.
Role Overview
This position is for someone with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic. Ideally you have experience with vintage automobiles, but we will train you and teach you what you don’t yet know. - Perform mechanical repairs, routine maintenance, inspections and diagnostic work on vintage and classic vehicles
- Identify and resolve leaks, noises, drivability issues, and worn components
- Help fabricate or modify parts when originals are unavailable
- Collaborate with a small team to solve unusual mechanical challenges
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe workspace
- Follow shop safety procedures and restoration best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical aptitude and hands on problem solving ability
- Strong work ethic — someone who stays busy and takes initiative
- Genuine interest in antique or classic automobiles
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Willingness to learn, take direction and develop new skills
Benefits
- Opportunities for skill development and career advancement
- Overtime pay when applicable
