Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor entrances and property to ensure controlled access during facility activities.
- Check identification and follow visitor/badge protocols as required.
- Conduct patrols of assigned areas during scheduled shifts.
- Remain alert for suspicious activity, threats, or safety concerns and promptly report findings to the appropriate supervisor.
- Follow emergency procedures (e.g., medical incidents, fire alarms, weather-related events, or disturbances).
- Assist in de-escalation efforts when appropriate, using a professional and respectful approach.
- Maintain awareness of event schedules and staffing needs.
- Document incidents, observations, and any relevant shift details according to facility procedures.
- Coordinate with facility leadership and designated security coordinator(s) when concerns arise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in security, law enforcement, private security, or related safety roles (required).
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Good communication skills and a respectful, community-oriented demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Schedule Notes:
- Shifts are primarily weekdays, typically from 2pm-8pm depending on demand and event calendar.
- Weekend work may be required as requested for events or special occasions.
- Availability requirements and exact shift times will be communicated in advance when scheduling.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
