General Laborer – Production & Packaging

Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and hardworking General Laborers to join our production team. The General Laborer will assist with production, packaging, material handling, cleaning, and general warehouse duties in a spice and seasoning manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working around spices, seasoning powders, and dry food ingredients and be able to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with general production and packaging duties.
- Pack and package spices, seasonings, and dry ingredients.
- Load and supply packaging materials to the production line.
- Assist production employees with daily operations.
- Inspect products and packaging for quality and accuracy.
- Label and palletize finished products.
- Move and organize materials and finished products as needed.
- Assist with product changeovers and line setup.
- Perform routine cleaning of equipment and work areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production area.
- Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report damaged packaging, incorrect labels, contamination, equipment issues, or quality concerns to a supervisor.
- Meet daily production and productivity requirements.
- Follow all written and verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Perform other general labor and production duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in general labor, production, packaging, food manufacturing, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to work around spices, seasoning powders, and dry food ingredients.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive production and packaging tasks.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move materials as required.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must follow all GMP, food safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements.
- Willingness to learn production procedures and equipment.
