WABG-TV/Greenville and Deltavision has an immediate opening for a motivated, versatile, and knowledgeable Creative Services Producer.
JOB DUTIES
· Develop strategy and execution of all marketing and creative for the four Delta News tv stations (WABG, WXVT, EABG, and WNBD), Deltanews.tv and other digital/mobile platforms
· Responsible for performing duties to produce local retail commercials for sales clients and partners (includes collaboration with clients and station sales staff, writing scripts, location taping and shooting, editing, production of final commercials)
· Responsible for managing daily promotional announcement on-air inventory and scheduling
· Responsible for managing Public Service Announcement (PSA) inventory and scheduling
· Develop broadcast marketing and creative for company’s brands consistent with values of each platform
· Close direction and supervision of all television marketing messages and scripts
· Close direction and supervision of all television, radio, social/digital spots, campaigns, and other creative
· Write or help develop key messages and scripts
· Oversee daily topical and proof of performance advertising
· Responsible for commitments and compliance with national co-op partners
· Responsible for commitments and compliance to local sponsors for projects that include Delta News promotion
· Responsible for commitments and compliance to radio partnerships
· Monitor on-air product and creative for quality and consistency; respond to problems and issues quickly
· Must have strong organizational and communication skills and a highly collaborative spirit.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in media message production preferred (tv, radio, digital)
· Strong problem solving and communication skills a must.
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university or equivalent preferred.
· Valid driver’s license with positive driving record required.
QUALIFICATIONS
o Reliable, positive, and self-motivated individual with strong personal integrity.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Capable of handling multiple tasks.
o Capable of meeting deadlines.
o Proficient computer skills including O365, Adobe and server management and other professional broadcast software.
o Knowledge and understanding of broadcast operations a plus.
o Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
o Capable of lifting 20 lbs.
