Example of Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be a Watchful Presence: Perform routine safety checks and provide close, constant observation, including one-to-one (1:1) or two-to-one (2:1) assignments.
- Be a Communicator: Document your observations and relay significant information to the clinical care team.
- Be a Guardian: Continuously monitor patients at risk for self-harm or behavioral incidents to ensure their safety.
- Be a Team Member: Work under the supervision of nursing staff to maintain hospital policies and a safe environment.
