WindowServe is a locally owned window treatment company serving the Des Moines metro area, including Waukee, Ankeny, Johnston, and Grimes. We specialize in blinds, shades, shutters, and motorized window treatments, with a transparent, all-inclusive pricing model that sets us apart in the market.
We're looking for a Design & Sales Consultant to join our team as a 1099 independent contractor. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with homeowners, has a strong eye for design, and is motivated by a flexible, performance-based opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-home consultations with homeowners
- Recommend window treatment solutions (blinds, shades, shutters, motorized options) based on style, function, and budget
- Take accurate measurements and guide customers through product selection
- Build strong client relationships and generate repeat and referral business
- Represent the WindowServe brand professionally in customers' homes
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and sales skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and territory
- Reliable transportation required
- Experience in home improvement, interior design, or direct sales preferred but not required
- Comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor
