Position Location: Williamstown, NJ 08094- Group Home Setting for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Salary: $28.00-$34.00 per hour, depending on previous experience!
AVAILABLE SHIFTS:
Mondays 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm
Fridays 7am to 3pm, 3pm to 11pm
Every other Saturdays 7am-3pm
*Additional shifts may also be available during the week
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:
*Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file
*Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing
*Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication
*Update patient records in a confidential manner
*Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff
*Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
*Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly
*Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys
*Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents.
*Provide nursing care according to physician s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
*Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
REQUIREMENTS:
*Must possess LPN or RN license
*Have PPD and Physical dated within one year
*Must have valid drivers license
