Overview
Assist the provider with all aspects of patient care, including but not limited to time-of-service patient triage, results follow-up, and patient communication.
Duties
- Review, sign, and maintain all clinical protocols as relayed by the Office Manager.
- Assist assigned provider by gathering clinical information and entering it into the EHR.
- Respond to, resolve, and document all patient correspondence.
- Ensure accurate documentation with a clear audit trail.
- Ensure MIPS compliance throughout the clinical workflow.
- Complete time-of-service patient triage, including but not limited to obtaining medical history, medications, and vitals.
- Complete all medication pre-authorizations.
- Monitor all orders entered by the assigned provider to ensure each order is completed in a timely manner based on clinical protocols.
- Perform other tasks as needed or directed by the Company’s management team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Required license: Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent
- 3+ years of relevant experience required
- Employee must be able to communicate clearly with patients.
- Employee must be able to keep an organized workflow and effectively manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Employee must be able to be active and mobile for an eight hour period.
