Job Summary:
- Promptly greet and direct patients, family, etc in the lobby in an enthusiastic and cheerful manner.
- Take steps as needed to assist visitors/patients in finding their destination.
- Accurately scan documents into CPSI imaging system.
- Sort and distribute mail, taking care in ensuring mail gets to the proper party.
- Prep checks for cashier using the current hospital policy and procedure on cash handling.
- Accurately and thoroughly document pertinent events regarding the handling of the account including researching of prior accounts.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Education:
High school diploma required.
Experience:
One to two years' clerical experience required. Customer service skills and computer skills required.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products helpful but not required. Experience in a medical office setting or hospital helpful but not required.
