Floral Design Manager
Pay: $15.00–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary
Hollyfield Design is seeking a creative, dependable, and customer-focused Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for flowers, an eye for color and design, and enjoys creating memorable arrangements for everyday occasions, weddings, sympathy tributes, and special events. This position requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Design fresh floral arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, sympathy services, weddings, holidays, and everyday occasions.
- Create custom arrangements based on customer preferences, budget, and occasion.
- Process, hydrate, and properly care for fresh flowers and greenery to maximize freshness and longevity.
- Maintain attractive floral displays and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist customers in person and over the phone with product recommendations and order placement.
- Prepare arrangements for delivery and verify accuracy before orders leave the store.
- Help receive and organize flower shipments and maintain inventory.
- Work collaboratively with the design team to complete daily production and holiday orders.
- Assist with holiday setup, merchandising, and seasonal displays.
- Maintain a clean and organized design workspace while following company standards.
Qualifications
- Previous floral design experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong artistic background.
- Creativity and a good understanding of color, texture, and floral design principles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during holidays and peak seasons.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift up to 40 pounds.
- Availability to work weekdays, Saturdays, and additional hours during major floral holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating sympathy, wedding, and event floral designs.
- Knowledge of fresh flower care and handling.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and order management software.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
