Position Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee all sales activities for our mechanical and performance division while serving as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle upgrades and customization services.
This individual must possess extensive knowledge of:

This position also requires a strong operational mindset. The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, efficient, and professional facility while ensuring production, inventory, and workflow are operating at the highest level.

Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relations
- Consult with customers regarding vehicle upgrades and performance goals
- Develop detailed estimates and project proposals
- Recommend appropriate aftermarket products and services
- Upsell complementary services and products
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Follow up on leads and pending estimates
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings
- Manage customer expectations throughout the project lifecycle
Business Development
- Generate new business opportunities
- Establish relationships with dealerships, fleet accounts, and commercial customers
- Attend automotive events, car shows, and community functions
- Develop referral partnerships
- Grow monthly sales volume and profitability
Sales Management
- Lead and manage sales team members
- Track sales performance and KPIs

Facility Management & Organization Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, efficient, and professional work environment at all times.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining showroom cleanliness and presentation
- Ensuring shop organization standards are consistently followed
- Monitoring work areas for cleanliness and safety
- Organizing inventory storage areas
- Maintaining professional customer-facing spaces
- Ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored
- Monitoring facility appearance and correcting deficiencies immediately
- Establishing and enforcing organizational procedures throughout the shop
- Creating an environment that reflects pride, professionalism, and attention to detail

Inventory Management & Accountability
The Sales Manager will play a critical role in inventory management and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking inventory levels
- Managing aftermarket parts inventory
- Monitoring stock replenishment
- Reducing inventory loss and waste
- Ensuring accurate receiving and documentation of parts
- Organizing warehouse and storage areas
- Maintaining inventory accuracy
- Working with vendors and suppliers
- Forecasting inventory needs based on sales trends
- Ensuring parts are available to support production schedules
Inventory organization and accountability are critical to profitability and customer satisfaction.
Production & Workflow Management
The Sales Manager must understand that sales and production are directly connected.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitoring shop workflow and vehicle progress
- Coordinating with technicians and management
- Ensuring sold work moves efficiently through production
- Preventing bottlenecks and scheduling conflicts
- Maintaining communication between customers and technicians
- Monitoring project timelines
- Assisting with production planning and scheduling
- Helping maximize technician productivity and shop efficiency
- Ensuring vehicles are delivered on time and to company standards
A sale is not complete until the vehicle is delivered, and the customer is thrilled with the result.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of automotive sales experience
- Minimum 3 years of aftermarket, performance, off-road, or customization industry experience
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals
- Experience in creating estimates and work orders
- Experience managing customer projects from consultation through completion
- Experience leading teams and managing operations preferred
