This is a Jimmy Johns and Baskin Robbins combination restaurant, so all staff are required to work at both brands.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently and accurately following established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with health regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform food handling duties safely while adhering to sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Restaurant experience or background in the food industry is advantageous but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key
