Responsibilities:
In this role, candidates must demonstrate an exceptional standard of care and be attentive to details. The technician must foster this attitude in himself and those around him so that over time it is truly a natural atmosphere or “culture” in their department.
Following are specific duties of the Technician:
- Diagnose and Perform vehicle repair with high competency and proficiency as assigned in compliance with dealer and OE standards.
- Cleanliness and Organization- Maintain benches, lifts, tools and common areas.
- Quality communication- Ability to respectfully and effectively communicate with team members in positive manner. Including written/ verbal skills necessary to complete technician and resolution notes.
- Meet deadlines and complete work in a timely and productive manner.
- Capacity to identify ASR opportunity and communicate with service advisor.
- Ensure that customers’ units are kept clean and protected from cosmetic damage.
- Road-test vehicles when required.
- Ability to travel. May require travel for OEM trainings (within U.S)
Additionally, while the technician does not typically interface directly with customers, it is important that he/she understands that everything that occurs in the dealership with the intent to grow business and drive profitability. Every action, attitude, display, product, and service in the dealership is to provide an exceptional customer experience.
Qualifications Include:
- Passion for powersports and willingness to learn.
- Focus on Customer experience.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to bend, lift, twist, push or pull if needed
- Tools not required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Current valid driver’s license
- Experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
Job Type: Full-time Tuesday- Saturday 9:30am - 6:30pm, (may be require working overtime on occasion)
Hourly Rate: up to $43/hour (based on experience & Proficiency)
No Remote Work schedule
License/Certification:
- Driver's License with M1 endorsement (pending endorsement)
Work Location: Onsite (Bellflower and/or La Habra)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $43.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
