Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shipping Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position requires critical thinking, teamwork, basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, and heavy lifting.
Duties
- Assemble, package, and prepare products for delivery according to specifications.
- Receive deliveries and put away into inventory.
- Ensure compliance our of policies and standards during the handling of products.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline delivery processes and improve logistics.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory, and usage.
- Coordinates shipping schedules, ensures proper packaging of medications, tracks inventory for outgoing orders, and liaises with delivery services.
Experience
- Proven experience in a shipping and packaging environment is preferred.
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
- Experience in packaging and shipping.
- 1+ years in a fulfillment or packaging role and attention to detail
- Familiarity with pharmacy operations or HIPAA compliance.
