This position also receives tips in addition to hourly wage.
Duties
- Deliver top-tier guest service, ensuring all guests feel valued and attended to promptly.
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest experience while increasing sales revenue.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues efficiently.
- Learn and speak about wine. Attend wine festivals. Provide wine tastings to guests.
- Ability to sell wine by glass, bottle and case.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant or wine bar.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
- Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities simultaneously.
