Regional Business Office Manager (Nursing Home Group)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Regional Business Office Manager to oversee and support the financial and administrative operations across multiple skilled nursing facilities. This role is ideal for a strong leader with a deep understanding of long-term care billing, collections, and regulatory compliance who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Regional Business Office Manager:
- Oversee business office operations across multiple nursing home facilities
- Supervise and mentor Business Office Managers and administrative staff
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and insurance
- Monitor and improve accounts receivable (AR) performance and cash collections
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Collaborate with facility administrators and corporate leadership on financial performance
- Train staff on billing systems, processes, and best practices
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and financial analysis
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in long-term care billing or business office management
- Prior regional or multi-site experience strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing processes
- Strong leadership, training, and team development skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to travel between facilities as needed
