JOB SUMMARY
The Billing specialist is responsible for supporting our overall operations in processing regularly invoicing to our clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Prepare client invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
- Ensure accurate and timely generation of invoices and billing statements.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional manner.
- Utilize client required invoice interfaces.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve billing issues.
- Prepare and maintain reports for billing status and client cost as required.
- Professional communications and responses to client inquiries.
- Must possess ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years related experience in accounting and/or invoicing
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Able to work effectively under pressure
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and remain focused
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience uploading invoices into electronic submissions portals for clients
- Experience with Oracle Cloud
- Oil & Gas experience
Pay: From $28.00 per hour
