We are seeking a highly skilled pharmacist to join our team. Currently we are looking for 40 hours a week with opportunity to take on more hours as needed.
This role requires excellent attention to detail and a strong understanding of compounding techniques, as well as a thorough knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medications.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with physicians and patients to determine the best medication options
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all medications prepared
- Ensure that all medications are prepared in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide patient counseling on proper use and storage of medications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Bachelors of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Active pharmacy license in good standing
- Preferred completion of a compounding pharmacy course OR training program OR compounding experience
- Sterile certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Preferred familiarity with compounding equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to compounding
