Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our property. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical skills, proficiency with Computerized Property Management Software, and a customer-first approach. This role requires on-call availability for after-hours emergencies (tenant lock out, water leak, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Address maintenance requests and inquiries from office staff and tenants with kind, professional, clear communication.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose maintenance issues, evaluate problems, and implement cost effective, timely resolutions.
- Repairs: Conduct general repairs in a timely manner and safely operate equipment.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled property maintenance, repairs, and unit restorations to maintain optimal systems functionality.
- Facility Inspections: Able to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalate.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with and communicate with office staff and outside vendors to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven hands-on experience in property maintenance.
- Problem Solving: Strong critical thinking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for daily tenant and team interactions.
- Safety and Compliance: Proactive commitment to following safety standards and regulations.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and utilize diagnostic tools.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in safely using hand and power tools for fabrication and repair.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

- Are you willing to be on-call when the office is closed? The office is closed M-F 4:30pm-8:30am and it is closed on weekends. This position would require on-call availability and the ability to respond quickly to property maintenance requests that require attention after-hours (for example: lock-outs, water leaks, etc.).
