UFCW Local 951 is seeking individuals who believe in hard work, workers’ rights, and the strength of the middle class. As a Union Field Representative, you’ll work directly with members, stewards, and employers throughout your geographic assignment. The job can be demanding, but it’s deeply rewarding for those who value purpose‑driven work, problem‑solving, and building trusting relationships with the members of UFCW 951.
What You’ll Do
- Enforce Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Promote Union programs and benefits
- Educate members on their rights in the workplace
- Build relationships at the workplace and within the community
- Resolve workplace disputes
- Manage Union Steward teamsMobilize members

What We’re Looking For
- High School degree or equivalent required. College degree preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
- A service‑oriented mindset
- A valid driver’s license
- Experience in community or political organizing is helpful but not required
- Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to the greater Detroit area or Southeast Michigan with a focus on the cities of Southfield, Livonia, Westland and Farmington Hills.
- Candidates must be willing to drive long distances as necessary

Pay: $900.00 - $1,200.00 per week
