As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all meals meet our standards of excellence and adhere to food safety regulations. This position is perfect for college students who would like evening hours. No experience is necessary, we will train.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring efficiency and safety.
- Help train new kitchen staff as needed, sharing knowledge of techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- Kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
