Job Overview
Mayesh is opening our newest location in Nashville, Tennessee, and we’re building an amazing team! We’re looking for good people who are ready to bring their skills, energy, and leadership to a growing operation.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cooler Lead to oversee daily operations in our warehouse and cooler. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials handling, warehouse operations, and team leadership. This role is key to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse and cooler staff to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including receiving, storing, organizing, and shipping products.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to materials handling and distribution center operations.
- Train and coach team members on warehouse best practices, safety standards, and operating procedures.
- Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics and support customer and e-commerce initiatives.
- Assist with heavy lifting and manual warehouse tasks as needed, particularly during peak periods.
- Help create a positive, team-oriented culture as we launch and grow our new Nashville location.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory, lead, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a positive work environment.
- Experience with e-commerce fulfillment processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with materials handling equipment and warehouse safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Working experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Must have a clean driving record and be able to drive company vehicles.
- Ability to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving products as needed.
