About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on, production-focused Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability efforts within our Louisville manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the plant.
As the owner of the production equipment within your area, you will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to drive uptime, improve reliability, and execute proactive maintenance strategies that support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.

Responsibilities
Lead Maintenance & Reliability Operations
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for Maintenance Engineering Technologists (METs), Team Maintenance Leaders (TMLs), and Team Maintenance Specialists (TMSs)
Own the execution of daily maintenance and corrective action plans to address equipment and process issues
Drive long-term reliability improvements through strong collaboration between Maintenance and Operations teams
Monitor KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement actions to improve reliability and operational performance
Lead root cause analysis and PDCA problem-solving activities from issue identification through sustainable countermeasures
Ensure maintenance work is completed safely, accurately, and in alignment with plant standards through routine audits and field engagement
Drive Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement equipment, process, and procedural improvements that increase reliability and efficiency
Support autonomous maintenance and Operator Driven Reliability initiatives
Develop proactive and predictive maintenance strategies
Execute Preventive Maintenance Optimization and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) methodologies
Lead bad actor analysis initiatives and overhaul planning activities
Benchmark best practices across sister plants and help standardize maintenance excellence initiatives
Support Technical & Asset Management Excellence
Maintain ownership of key technical documentation including PLC programs, HMI systems, drive programs, equipment drawings, and FMEAs
Ensure proper change management processes are followed across maintenance activities
Utilize SAP to support asset management and maintenance planning activities
Establish inventory classifications and stocking strategies for maintenance stores
Support maintainability, operability, and design reviews for equipment and system improvements
Promote workplace organization (WPO), utility cost reduction efforts, and overall maintenance financial stewardship
Develop People & Capability
Build and maintain training and development programs for maintenance personnel
Provide technical guidance, standards, and expertise to maintenance teams
Foster a culture centered around safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Create clear expectations aligned with business objectives while providing regular coaching and feedback
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree required; engineering or technical degree preferred
5+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
Experience leading teams within a manufacturing environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production setting
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Proficiency interpreting:
Electrical schematics
P&IDs
Mechanical layouts and designs
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project Management tools
Preferred
SAP experience
AutoCAD knowledge
Lean Six Sigma certification
Experience with predictive maintenance, reliability engineering, and continuous improvement methodologies
Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $102,600-$176,755
The range disclosed complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by considering relevant factors including education, experience, and internal alignment. This position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs. Sealed Air offers a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and other benefits designed to promote well-being.
