Currently we are hiring a Line Technician on 2nd Shift to join our team in St Louis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
- Conducting preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and prevent operational disruptions.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues, and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborating with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance strategies and schedules.
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Communicating effectively with the operations team to address maintenance needs and coordinate work schedules.
- 2nd Shift Hours are Monday to Friday, 1pm to 9.30pm (30 min break, 40 hour week)
- Training for the first couple weeks will be during the first shift, Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
Authority:
- You have authority to stop the job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.
Requirements:
- Qualification or Certification in Engineering OR Electrical OR Mechanical OR Automation OR similar desirable
- 3 years hands-on experience working in a production environment
- Experience working in a fast paced production environment
- Experience working in conveyors
- Ability to navigate around HMI and VFD programs
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative maintenance and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with industrial machinery, tools, and equipment commonly used in manufacturing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
