Off-Road Gatlinburg is a fast-growing off-road UTV rental company operating one of the largest side-by-side fleets in the region. Our vehicles operate every day in rugged terrain and must meet strict safety and reliability standards before every tour.
We're looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our fleet maintenance team. Whether you're an entry-level technician looking to build your skills or an experienced mechanic ready for more responsibility, we provide opportunities for growth based on performance, reliability, and commitment.
This is a structured, accountability-driven shop where safety, attention to detail, and quality workmanship come first.
What You'll Do
Depending on your experience and demonstrated ability, your responsibilities may include:
- Perform daily Pre-Tour Inspections (PTIs) on UTVs
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled service
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs
- Follow manufacturer specifications, torque values, and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate repair documentation and work orders
- Reduce repeat repairs through quality workmanship
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and efficient
- Assist with inventory control and parts accountability
- Support fleet readiness by completing repairs on schedule
- Help maintain quality control standards across the fleet
- Mentor and assist other technicians as experience grows
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in work ethic and mechanical ability than finding someone who knows everything on day one.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely
- A willingness to learn and accept coaching
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
- Professional attitude with a strong sense of accountability
Experience with UTVs, power-sports, motorcycles, ATVs, automotive repair, diesel equipment, heavy equipment, agriculture, or other mechanical trades is required.
