Description of Role:
- Position: Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Locations: Marysville, Yuba City, and Wheatland, CA
- Compensation Note: Includes a $500 stipend per birth in addition to base pay.
- This position requires providing labor and delivery care in our dedicated out-of-hospital Birthing Center. Candidates must be fully competent and comfortable managing autonomous, natural births outside of a traditional hospital setting
Essential Functions:
- Provide care for expecting mothers and women
- Gynecologic and family planning services
- Preconception care
- Prenatal examinations
- Handling labor and delivery
- Postpartum care
- Care of normal newborn during the first 28 days of life
- STD testing and treatment on expecting parents
- Treatment of male partners for sexually transmitted infections
- Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing treatments
- Counseling and educating male and female patients on contraceptives, reproductive health, and family planning
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current California Nurse Midwife License (Required)
- Master's Degree in Nurse-Midwifery
- Bilingual Skills (Preferred)
- Two (2) years' experience providing clinical services

Pay: $135,200.00 - $176,800.00 per year
