Location: Non-Remote: The candidate will work at multiple locations in and about Manassas, Virginia
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree from an accredited university. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience Level: Master with 12+ years of experience.
Travel: Required annual travel less than 10%
Overview:
Sedna is seeking to hire a Master Systems Engineer to lead and develop and implement system architectures and for Navy DoD tactical and support systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary point of contact for collaborate with external partners, customer, or Navy representatives
- Lead development and analysis of system requirements, validation, and verification testing
- Ensure compatibility, interoperability, and integration of all functional and physical interfaces
- Lead system architecture definition, development, and implementation to meet requirements for HW, SW, facilities, people, and data
- Determine problems, provide solutions that arise during development, upgrade, or maintenance of systems, establish, and manage problem reporting system
- Identify and manage technical risks
- Manage development of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRLs) system engineering documentation
- Implement and manage a technology refreshment program
- Lead establishment and maintain a Cybersecurity program to support system certification and accreditation of requirements
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university or equivalent related experience.
- 12+ years’ experience in requirements development, validation, and verification testing
- Leadership experience in a significant program.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree – Master of science
