Delivery Driver Job Description

The focus of this position is on product delivery and customer service. Reporting to the Dispatcher, the Delivery Driver is responsible for executing work on the road for the delivery and pick up of cannabis material and payment. The position is not limited to the above and the employee will often be asked to perform other related duties as requested or assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Make timely deliveries & pick-ups to all stops on day’s route
- Contact shops with estimated time of arrival (ETA) for deliveries
- Load product onto the van and compare packed orders to invoice and manifests to ensure all products are included
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain company vehicles in great working condition
- Be on-call for scheduling purposes
- Handle payments securely
- Communicate effectively using Telegram
- Provide in-house assistance when no delivery routes are scheduled or when routes are completed early
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of working in a customer service/customer-facing environment
- MUST have a valid Driver’s License
- MUST have a clean driving record
- Able to manage cash/payments effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work longer than 8 hours
- Works well independently
